Meet our founder:
Captivate NYC was founded by Irene Fong, a classically trained violinist with over 20 years of performance experience ranging from on stage at Carnegie Hall & international music festivals, to luxury weddings & high-end events. After years of performing at events around the world, she recognized the power of live electric strings to elevate an event - and saw a need for entertainment that felt both stylish and soul-stirring.
What began as a solo venture based in NYC has grown into a curated collective of exceptional musicians with a base in New York and a new hub in France. The violinists and musicians are hand-selected not only for their talent, but for their elegance, professionalism and ability to read a room. Irene now focuses on producing and shaping each performance, ensuring a smooth process from beginning to end. She ensures that every event is unforgettable from the first note to the last.
